Sidmouth indoor bowlers enjoyed a friendly match against county players, resulting in a 53-46 victory.
Last week, Sidmouth Indoor Bowls Club hosted Devon County Indoor Bowling Association president Ray Sandercock and his county players.
The match culminated in an overall win for Sidmouth, with one of their rinks of Tony Broughton, Phil Meadows, Keith Pollitt and skip David Timms, securing an impressive 21-8 victory.
Despite two of Sidmouth's three rinks experiencing narrow defeats, the overall score tipped in favour of Sidmouth, thanks to the stellar performance of Timms' rink.

The afternoon was not solely about the game, as Sidmouth Indoor Bowls Club President, Carol Smith, enjoyed the company of the county president and his executive team, who were all present in their blazers adorned with county badges.
A tea was organised during the event by Christine Ward, with the help of Chris Radburn and Anita Mason.
As first duty as President, Carol, was invited for the tea.
However, Sidmouth's own captain Paul noted that the club president's blazer had more "bling" than any other.
This "bling" represents the club president's successful earlier bowling career, which included reaching county and national competition finals.
The match, played in good spirits, was a testament to the friendly rivalry between county players and Sidmouth bowlers, promising more such engaging encounters in the future.
