Sidmouth Ladies' Bowling Club secured another impressive victory in the National Masons Trophy.
The team first faced Kingsley, narrowly winning on aggregate by just two shots.
Next, they competed against Exonia from Exeter, with one rink playing at home and another away.
The away rink, consisting of Jean Brimson, Mary Turner, Carol Smith, and skip Jill Bishop, initially struggled with the faster green, falling behind 4-12 after six ends.
However, showing determination, they gradually caught up and were only four shots down at 14-18 after 17 ends.
Meanwhile, the home rink, made up of Karen Hollingdale, Anita Mason, Sue Turner, and skip Jane Painter, delivered an exceptional performance, winning their match 27-7.
This victory meant there was no need for the away rink to play their final 18th end.
Overall, Sidmouth was 16 shots up, with an aggregate score of Sidmouth 41, Exonia 25.
As the competition progresses, the challenges are expected to increase.
The team is now preparing for their next match against Torquay United on December 6, determined to give their best effort.
