Sidmouth missed out on the chance to go top of the Peninsula League East when they were held to a draw by Bridport on Tuesday.
The Vikings led twice during the match at Manstone Lane but the visitors snatched a point with a second goal deep into stoppage time.
Sidmouth led 1-0 at half time, Nathan Cooper finally adding the finishing touch to a Liam Carey cross.
It was 1-1 on 72 minutes when the referee over-ruled an assistant's decision and allowed an effort from Riley Weedon but straight away afterwards Cooper was fouled at the other end and Carey converted the penalty kick.
The Bridport equaliser came in added time when the ball was scrambled home to Will Gape after ricocheting around in the box.
Man of the Match Award for Sidmouth went to Alfie Down following his return to action following injury.
