Two Sidmouth Running Club (SRC) members have achieved a record time for a 66k run from Exmouth to Lyme Regis.
Donna and Grahame Womersley-Westlake, the club's junior run leaders, used the half-term break to complete the East Devon Way route in the fastest known time for a self-supported mixed couple.
Meanwhile, run leader Clive Gilbert took a group of SRC members, known as the Mighty Greens, on a 12-mile loop around West Hill and Ottery St Mary, passing the famous Ottery bonfire.
Other members of the club supported LME's Sidmouth 10k event, either by running or marshalling.
The event, starting at Sidford Social Hall, follows a route through the Byes, up Hillside, and down Beatlands, ending at the seafront before participants retrace their steps.
Despite the challenge of two steep hill climbs, Mighty Green Toby Garrick finished seventh overall in a field of 266, with a time of 39 minutes and 10 seconds.
He was the first SRC male to cross the finish line.
Toby's mother, Naomi Garrick, was the first SRC female to finish, with a time of 55 minutes and 18 seconds.
Colin Ryan finished second in his age category, while Scott Chown managed to cut five minutes off his previous year's time, despite being caught on camera walking up the hill.
Other notable finishers included Neville Hylton, Richard King, Bob Huntington, Alison Williams, Fiona Pavelin, Emma Salter, Ann Cole, and Robert Mould, all of whom completed the course successfully.
