Sidmouth hit the goal trail again and their unbeaten league opening to the season has taken them up into second place in the table.
It took them only three minutes to get in front, Liam Carey slipping through Corey Rogers who kept his composure before rounding the goalkeeper to score.
Eliott Driver’s long ball then found Ryan Gilpin who scored with a well-judged lob before the visitors pulled a goal back.
It was 4-1 by the break though after Nathan Cooper got Sidmouth’s third goal and then Louis Jagger Cane curled in an effort that the visiting goalkeeper misjudged.
Just past the hour Gilpin netted his second goal of the game after good work by Louis Spalding and four minutes from time Carey made it 6-1 to Sidmouth from the penalty spot after he had been brought down in the box.
