Sidmouth Chiefs' rugby team is preparing for their highest league level since 1987, South West Regional One.
The team is excited about the upcoming season as training with Shaun Malton, Phil Dollman and Glenn Channing sees good attendance.
Two new players are on board, Tom Price from Exeter and Alfie Keats, returning after his university.
A few members of the previous Devon Colts Cup winning team are progressing to senior rugby.
The first game of the season is scheduled for Saturday, September 7 against Exmouth.
However, the friendly opener against Okehampton is cancelled.
Instead, the first warm-up game is on August 23 against Withycombe, followed by a game against the Army Under 23s on Saturday, August 31.
