Sidmouth Golf Club's Lady Captain's Day, hosted by Heather Cowan, was a seaside-themed spectacle complete with glorious weather and immaculate golf.

The Seaside special, taking place on June 29, saw guests delighted by Cream Teas provided by Someday Something of Sidmouth, caterers in the region.

Guests savoured their treats halfway through the course with Pimm's and Prosecco.

Club caterers Jake and Lauren continued with the coastal theme, serving all returning participants with fish and chips in the clubhouse.

Along with the food and drinks, the golf was good too, giving participants a memorable day both on and off the greens.

The winning team on countback was comprised of Gerri Whitrow, Penny Anderson, and Sandra Gibbs, scoring 82 points.

Sheila Faulkner, Ros Eaton, and Debbie Snelgrove took second place, also scoring 82 points.

In third place were Liz Chance, Anne Blackler, and Louise Talbot with 77 points.

Heather was thanked on behalf of the ladies by vice-captain, Vanessa Ireson, who ended the day by giving her a bouquet of flowers.
