Sidmouth Golf Club members experienced a jam-packed weekend full of competitive action.
Over 130 members and guests took part in the Captain's Day on Saturday, enjoying a dry spell and some lively fun – despite the dice on the tees not favouring everyone.
Players were highly appreciative of the refreshments with pizza and cider out on the course most welcome.
Neil Hodge emerged victorious in the Sidmouth Jewellers Friday Stableford, surpassing Mark Bathard and Thomas Dyle with an impressive 41.
The B team took centre stage on Sunday, seeking redemption against Axe Cliff following last year's defeat when they beat Sidmouth on home soil.
Determined to secure the Jurassic Cup, the Sidmouth squad impressively defeated Axe Cliff 5.5 to 0.5.
Monday's Upper Crust Stableford saw Hugh Dorliac win Div 1 with 38 points, closely followed by Simon Knowles and Archie Griffiths.
Div 2 was clinched by James Scrimshaw, tying with Dorliac at 38 points.
David Mullen and John Bainbridge both made strong efforts, securing 35 points each.
The Seniors prize was claimed by John Fox with a score of 38.
Sidmouth Golf Club is buzzing with anticipation as they look forward to next month's crucial away match.
