Sidmouth Golf Club Seniors ran their Yellow Ball team competition on Monday.
The winning trio was Mark McGoogan, Dave Atkinson and Rob Owen on countback from Mike Davis, Graham Lanceley and James Scrimshaw.
Both had 106 apiece with James winning the nearest the pin.
In last week's Upper Crust Monday Stableford, Division 1 was won by Brian Davies on 38, with Steve Crabb and Simon Emerson taking the minor places with 37 each.
Division 2 saw Geoff Lory win from Terry Coldridge and John Randall.
This week, Jash Patidar won Division 1 with partner 36 on countback from Valdis Baranovs.
Ben Gibbs came third with 34.
In Division 2, Nigel Sharp had a good day scoring 38, with Howard Cushing and Mark Bathard in the minor places.
On a day sunnier and warmer than forecast, David Hall and Mike Travers led the Seniors out against an evenly matched pair from Ilfracombe last Thursday.
Sidmouth were very soon two holes up but Ilfracombe pulled back and were two up by the 9th.
Sidmouth got back to 1 up by the 17th only for Ilfracombe to level the match on the 18th.
Jonty Clews and Fred Preece came in 2 and 1 up, shortly followed by Mark McGoogan and Adrian Hack at 6 and 4.
Vernon Ruffle and late replacement John White won their match also.
The 5th match went Ilfracombe's way and the final went to Sidmouth giving a 4.5 to 1.5 victory to Sidmouth.
Dinner afterwards was a friendly affair enjoyed by all.
After a good result for Sidmouth, Ilfracombe will want their revenge when they play the return match on July 12.
The Sidmouth Jewellers Friday Stableford winner was Mike Knight on 38 from Colin Craven on 36 and Simon Emerson 35.
On Saturday in the Deane Medal, Division 1 winner was David Bater with 64 from Dave Hoare 66 and Bob Johnston 67.
Division 2 saw Alan Cheung taking the medal with 71 from Andy Griffiths on countback, Mike Travers came third.
