Sidmouth Bowls Club hosted its annual indoor trophy presentation on Saturday.
Some 50 members enjoyed a delightful lunch at one of the luxury seafront hotels - food and service exceptional as usual.
It was so good to see several newer members collecting their trophies.
Master of ceremonies Peter Mison once again did an excellent job, for which we are very grateful and this year had just a few new jokes - thank goodness.
Our men's captain Paul Irvine, in true military style (he was a Marine), thanked everyone that had helped during the season.
The Ladies Championship was won by Karen Hollingdale.
The Mens Championship by Ian Dudley and The Open Club Championship by Jill Bishop.
Some of our first time winners were Lynn Pike for the Mixed Umbrella and along with Scott Archer for the Mixed Pairs.
Linda Knight for the Rosemullion Shield, while Debbie Leeds and Jill Bishop captured the Ladies Pairs.
Also, Janet Barton along with Jean Brimson and Zena Johnson took home the Joan Jeffery Cup.
So well done to everyone - a great afternoon.
While on Sunday morning, our very own Jill Bishop played her Champion of Champions match at home to a much younger opponent from Exonia,Sabrina Radmore, and won. S
So well done Jill and good luck in the next round.
