Tipton were invited to bat first on Sunday after travelling down to Stokeinteignhead.
They profited from a good opening partnership of 77 between Tom Birch and Tom Jeacock.
Tom Jeacock was first out being caught off the bowling of Anton Slipszenko for 34.
Tom Birch followed him four overs later when the same bowler had him caught at backward square leg for 35.
The third wicket put on a further 59 with Mark Burnard being the sheet anchor whilst John Buckland blazed 55 off 42 balls before retiring.
One of his shots unfortunately injured the hand of Slipszenko fielding at mid-wicket and played no further part in the proceedings having been Stokeinteignhead’s best bowler with 2-15.
After Burnard’s lengthy innings was ended after being bowled by Bushby for 8, a brief partnership between Brenan Coles and Adam Gibbins who scored 10 each took Tipton’s score to 175-4
Lewis Davies in his second season with the club took the first three wickets as Stokeinteignhead reached 66-3 after 14 overs.
He first had Tiwari caught in the gulley by Phil Wright, then Sam Stone took a good catch behind the stumps for the second wicket before Davies bowled Pooley for 5.
A good partnership of 50 was ended by Adam Gibbins who had Ben Yarde-Buller stumped by replacement keeper Dave Thayre for 57.
Phil Wright then took five wickets in five overs to wrap up the innings.
He bowled Putman for his first wicket, then Davies took a good catch at deep mid-on to return the earlier favour.
Lishay George edged onto his stumps and was followed back to the pavilion in the same over when stumped by Thayre.
Tim Treeby resisted for a couple of overs before the ball deflected from his body and bat onto his stumps.
With Slipszenko unable to bat, his team were all out for 138 giving Tipton a win by 37 runs.
Wright bowled 7.3 overs taking 5-14 on a pitch which offered spin, whilst Davies took 3-40.
