Having lost to Sidmouth at home 3.5 to 2.5 the Honiton B Team captain Mark 'Reg' Parkinson was looking to reverse the score and sneak a win at Sidmouth on Saturday.
Whilst his team managed two good results on a tricky course, the result had already been decided by three good wins from the home side beforehand.
They had been playing for the Andy Harrison memorial bowl, played in memory of a past key member of the B Team scene.
The Sidmouth Jewellers Friday Stableford was won by David Burgess on 42 points from Callum Hill 41 and Andrew Thompson 39. Moray Bosence took top spot with 42 in the Monday Stableford, ahead of Lewis Perry 41 and Simon Emerson 40.
The Bakers Dozen competition is led by Andrew Thompson with an aggregate 493 from Arron Taylor on 484. The Eclectics so far have Neil Holland leading the Gross with 48, while Tim Chapman on 46 leads the Nett leaderboard.
Vernon Ruffle, Brian Rice and Jonty Clews won the Seniors Autumn Cup with an amazing 98 points, nine clear of second-placed of the Ashley, White and Robertson trio. Phil Spencer did well, winning Nearest the Pin and Two's prizes.
