East Devon’s MP Simon Jupp visited Exeter City Football Club’s Cliff Hill Training Ground to tour their new multi-million-pound building.
Visiting the club’s training ground on Sidmouth Road, Mr Jupp had the opportunity to look at the new two-storey building, which includes a fitness suite, briefing rooms, physiotherapy facilities, and office space. Construction cost in excess of £3 million and a fundraising campaign to ‘Kit Out The Cliff’ raised £63,000 to equip the new building.
Mr Jupp said: “I am so proud of what Exeter City Football Club is doing for our part of Devon and the training ground is a fantastic testament to their success. It was a pleasure to tour the site and see how the involvement of the local community has resulted in a truly world-class facility for use by players, staff, volunteers and, most importantly, the fans.”
