Tipton St John produce an excellent performance to defeat local neighbours Newton Poppleford by 153 runs last Sunday.
Phil Tolley was again in fine form and he was supported by good partnerships throughout the innings.
Dave Thayre, with 20, and Adam Gibbins, with 36, helped take the score to 88-2, but it was the 89-run partnership with Mark Burnard that set up a big score.
Shortly after Burnard was caught by Ash Perram off Ashley Chessum for 18, Tolley retired on 87.
A further 68 was added by John Buckland (51) and Amelia Tolley who made her highest score so far with 27 enabling Tipton to post 272-3.
David Birch opened the bowling with Phil Wright and took two wickets in his first over, both thanks to catches by John Buckland.
However, Birch, having taken 2-6 off his opening two overs, was plundered for 38 runs from his next two, mainly from the bat of Chris Davis who reached a quick 58 before being bowled by Wright.
Wright also accounted for Leigh Adey with a catch from his own delivery, which before he bowled Ruurd Hartstra to end with figures of 3-25.
Only Matt Raistrick was able to show any resistance with a fine 34 as Matt Davies and Reece Whittington mopped up the lower order, both taking 2-23, as Newton Poppleford were dismissed for 119.
