Sidmouth golfers played at Crediton twice last week with mixed results.
The Seniors battled hard before slipping to defeat and the B Team captain, Hugh Dorliac, sadly had a similar outcome, having lost on Thursday, but the pairings of Baldwin and Richards, Harper-Smith and Gibbons and Hobbs and Godwin all achieved halves to ensure victory over the two legs.
In Friday's Sidmouth Jewellers Stableford Dave Bater won with a silky 42 points from Dan Colson 39 and Harrison Jones on 38.
The monthly Medal, kindly sponsored by Molyneux Financial Services, saw course record holder James Pickard win Division 1 with nett 65 from Phil Grover and Will Hastie. John Barnard won Division 2 with 62, minor places going to Marc Jenkins and Jim Edwards.
The winners of this week's Upper Crust sponsored Monday stableford were Sam Barnard 43 from Moray Bosence 40 in Div 1 and Dave Richards 40 on countback from Hugh Dorliac in Div 2.
