Exeter City’s Under-18s hit their opponents for six as Tom Donati's side secured a 6-0 victory over Leyton Orient U18s.
Following a string of Andrew Sowden saves, the Devonians were given a bit of a wake-up call, however, it was the Grecians who broke the deadlock after 12 minutes. Orient’s goalkeeper tried to play his way out of defence, but Alfie Clark's press won back possession, and he squared the ball to Joe Wragg, who simply tapped the ball into an unguarded net for 1-0.
Mitch Beardmore flicked the ball onto Wragg, before the forward flashed a powerful drive into the back of the net for number two and the Grecians made it 3-0 when Jake Richards linked up with Clark. The striker took aim from the edge of the box, and bent the ball into the top corner.
Wragg completed his hat-trick after a lovely team move, and there were further goals from substitute Theo Cutler and Aamir Daniels.
