Ottery St Mary Under-18s continued their fine recent form with a confident 4-1 victory over Central.
The young Otters made a bright start to the and grabbed the lead when Haydon Simpson fired in a quality free-kick on nine minutes, and Simpson was involved again for the second. His corner was met by the head of skipper Jake Haggerty and Luke Paramore forced the ball over the line.
Ottery were relentless with their high tempo football and when Ethan Hawes muscled his way through two challenges, he fed a pass to Paramore, who then released Oliver Bradley for a deserved third.
A fine save from the Central goalkeeper kept his side in the game and they were given further hope when the score was reduced to 3-1, but Paramore squashed any potential Ottery nerves with an audacious lob from distance.
Man of the match was shared between Ethan Hawes and Reece Alexander.
