Exeter City are searching for a new manager after the departure of Matt Taylor to take up the role as boss at Championship club Rotherham United.
Taylor penned an open letter to fans, which stated: “The decision to leave Exeter City was taken with a heavy heart.
“The club has been a huge part of my life for ten incredible years. Firstly, to give me an opportunity to play professional football at 24 years of age, then in recent times as a coach and the last four-and-a-quarter years as your manager.
“To the fans, I feel the club is in the best shape possible, I would not have left it any other way. The club is special in so many ways but you are the constant, the unity and the beating heart of everything the club is.”
Good luck to Matt and the Grecians will move forward to a fresh era.
