Sidmouth U15s secured the eye-catching result in a weekend of entertaining football for the Junior Vikings.
Sid Ridgeway scored a fine hat-trick, there was a double from Alexander Goody and further goals for Ewan Fricker and Reggie Reed, as the U15s recorded a 7-3 win over Alphington in a terrific game packed with enterprising football
Sidmouth U16s made the long trip to South Molton but, despite a determined effort, eventually came home with a defeat. It was a tight affair for the U11s and they were very unlucky to eventually lose to a solitary goal from Culm Sampford.
The U10s enjoyed a three-team tournament with Culm Sampford and Twyford Spartans. The Vikings emulated their older counterparts, playing with tremendous confidence and quality to secure one win and one draw from their four matches.
All in all, a top weekend of football and the future is looking bright for Sidmouth Town.
