Pictures sent in by a Sidmouth Herald reader, show cracks starting to emerge on the South West Coast Path at Salcombe on Thursday, before a large section of the cliff fell into the sea.

Beer Coastguard have posted on Facebook, warning residents to 'stay away from the area' after another 'huge cliff fall' this time East of Sidmouth.
The coastguard have now taped off the path and a diversion route signposted.
This morning (November 8). DevonAlert posted on Facebook to alert residents of the landslide overnight, this time at Salcombe Cliffs Hill on the Eastern Side of Sidmouth.

"#Devon There has been a cliff collapse on Salcombe Cliffs, Sidmouth footpath 120. Please use an alternative route," their post said which was posted at around 9am on Friday.
