A garden centre has donated daffodil bulbs to over 30 schools.
Otter Garden Centres has given 32 primary schools across the region a package of bulbs, pots, and compost.
Each school was given a 20kg sack with around 300 daffodil bulbs, 100 pots, and six 20L bags of peat-free compost.
This was part of the family-run business's 60 Good Deeds campaign, to mark its 60th year of operation.
The company hopes this will lead to beautiful displays in spring 2025.
Managing director Jacqui Taylor said: "We really hope the children will enjoy planting the bulbs and watching them grow.
"Daffodils are one of the early indications of spring and always bring cheerfulness after the long winter months.
"They’re relatively easy to grow so we look forward to seeing pictures of lots of gorgeous displays of daffodils in early March 2025."
The company said this is the perfect time to plant daffodil bulbs, as it allows them to form roots and bloom in early spring.
The company was started by Malcolm and Marilyn White in 1994 and remains a family business.
The 60 Good Deeds pledge was made to help local communities in 2024.
