A Sid Vale Association talk on literary tourism is set to take place next week.
Dr Philip Long, an honorary research fellow at the University of Plymouth, will lead the discussion on the relationship between literature and tourism in Sidmouth and the South West.
The event, organised by the Sid Vale Association, will explore various forms of literary tourism, including fiction, travel writing, and poetry, with a focus on local and international locations.
It will be held on Wednesday, November 13, at 2:30pm at the Sid Vale Association HQ on Church Street.
Entry is £2.50 for members and £5 for non-members and includes tea and biscuits.
The event has limited availability.
