Fourways Residential Home is in the running for a national award.
The Sidmouth-based care home has been shortlisted in the Caring UK Awards, which recognise excellence in the care sector across the UK.
Caring UK Awards event director Dominic Musgrave said: "The Caring UK Awards are now in their seventh year and with more entries than ever before, our finalists really have reason to celebrate too as it’s a huge achievement to have made the shortlist and is testament to the teams behind each."
The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with the care industry magazine Caring UK, with support from headline sponsor Virgin Money.
Up to seven finalists have been selected in each category and they will now go through to the next stage of the judging process.
The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at The Athena in Leicester on Thursday, December 5.
Earlier this month, the care home was also awarded the Sidmouth in Bloom Floral Competition 2024 Class Retirement/Nursing Homes Winner certificate.
A Fourways Residential Home spokesperson said: "We would like to say a big thank you to our gardener Chris Morris who maintains our garden."
