The last day of the Sidmouth Science Festival is set to take place at Norman Lockyer Observatory.
The family fun day will be held on Sunday, October 13, from 11am to 4pm, featuring a wide range of activities and interactive experiences.
Attendees can expect space and science-themed talks, walks, and activities suitable for all ages.
Opportunities include building and launching rockets, exploring telescopes, and attending a planetarium show.
Jet car building and racing will also be part of the day, but with a limited number of kits available, early arrival is advised.
Other notable events include talks from the Space Exe Society and Institute of Physics, an interactive show Adventures in the Chemistry Lab by Devon Science, and history walks around the observatory grounds led by Neil Morley.
A make-your-own constellation workshop will be available for children aged 7 to 12, conducted by local storyteller Janet Dowling.
Storytelling under the stars will be led by Mike O’Leary.
Additional activities will include Space Detectives, Leonardo Helicopters, Exeter School with hands-on physics, the Blue Streak rocket exhibit, and Owls R Us.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, or booked in advance to avoid queues.
Entry fees are set at £10 for adults, while children aged 0 to 17 can enter for free.
The entry fee covers all the activities on site for the day except for the jet car kits, which cost £15 each and are limited.
