A charity coat collection is set to begin after previous success
Between October 15 and 28, the SW Peninsula Rotary E Club will organise the collection of clean, unwanted coats, fleeces, and gilets for distribution to local charities.
Last year, the pilot scheme successfully gathered nearly 1,000 items, helping to keep many warm over winter.
Collection points include Sidmouth Library, Tesco in Honiton, and the Ottery Help Scheme.
The initiative, operating under the national Wrap Up charity, aims to support those in need during the colder months.
Talking about last year's event, a spokesman for the SW Peninsula Rotary E Club, said: "The effort was amazingly successful for a pilot scheme collecting nearly 1000 coats"
