THE Art in the Attic fundraiser has dusted off some truly fabulous art pieces to sell, raising funds for the RNLI’s 200th Anniversary in Beer Village on Saturday, October 5,  and Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Four women from Beer village are raising funds for the RNLI through an art exhibition in the Beer Sailing Club and the sale of unique art pieces, obtained from attics and under beds, that are simply too good to give away.

The call for art has attracted a colourful array of oil paintings, watercolours and prints galore with the subjects being varied, but seascapes and nudes will feature predominantly.

There are many original gems being sold that are exciting the team and will excite visitors too. This includes nudes that have come directly from the private collection of renown sculptor, Therese Theodas, and have been generously donated to support this worthy cause.

The exhibition and sale are both being held between 11am and 4pm at the Beer Sailing Club. All who can attend are warmly welcomed. Alongside the gallery and sea views, there will be refreshments and a bar which will be open from midday.

Wendy Cummins from the Beer and Seaton RNLI fundraising team said: “We thank you for thinking of the RNLI in our 200th year and hope that everyone that can, will support this great idea."
