A monthly repair café is set to return after its summer break.
The Sidmouth Repair Café will be back this Saturday, September 28, between 10am and 1pm, at its new location in St Francis Church Hall on Woolbrook Road.
The team of volunteers is ready to assist anyone with items needing repair, including teddies, jeans, and table lamps.
Jenny, a volunteer member of the team, said: "Our sewing section had holes and splits to tackle, a picnic chair, bag and wetsuit included.
"David non-stop again with all the ever-popular sharpening."
"Electricals with vacuum cleaners, lamps, coffee machines, magnifying lamps, phones, headphones, bread-maker, kettle, drying machine, iron, hedge-cutter and a laptop."
"Also ornaments need some TLC."
The team of fixers works with the owners of the broken items to get them back in working order.
Visitors were full of praise for their previous experiences.
One said: "Brilliant service.

Another said: "Very friendly and nice.
"Fixed easily (and advice given)."
Jenny said: "Looking forward to seeing everyone at our next repair café this coming Saturday at St Francis Church Hall as we adapt ourselves to the new premises.
"No doubt the banter and happy vibes will remain the same."
Everyone is welcome, and there are refreshments available.
Donations are also welcome to support the café's future activities.
