A new Rag Rug Flower Workshop is starting at Sidmouth Craft Hub next month.
The hub opened at 38 Mill St, Sidmouth in July, and since then is a place for crafters to come in Sidmouth to make things.

The Rag Rug is for anyone who enjoys being creative with textiles or would like to learn a new skill that has a fascinating social history, why not come along and learn traditional rag rug techniques with rag rug artist Sally Light (aka Bodkin Beak) at Sidmouth Craft Hub on Tuesday October 15th from 10am to 1pm.
Sally said: "Using beautiful waste fabrics supplied for free by Sally, or your own fabrics if you prefer, (most fabrics are usable though upholstery or stiff fabrics not recommended) learn three different rag rug techniques, while creating beautiful flower brooches to take home with you.
This workshop gives a modern, creative spin on this sustainable, make-do-and-mend craft! £45 per person.
