The 28-year-old pleaded guilty at Exeter Law Courts on Wednesday, August 21.
Harris was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £40 surcharge to fund victim services.
He was ordered to pay his court bill in full by September 11.
His guilty plea was taken into account when he was sentenced.
