Playwright Chrissy Evans, hopes her latest play – Murder at the Town Hall – will help raise funds for Seaton & District Hospital League of Friends Hospice at Home service, providing nursing care to the terminally ill in the local area.

‘Bus Pass Productions has been making short comedy films for some time, just for fun,’ she says, ‘but I'm hoping people will now support our theatre production too and help raise money for this excellent cause.’

A cast of local actors, directed by Steve Miller, has been working all summer to bring the live performances to Colyton Town Hall on Friday and Saturday 20th and 21st September.

A spokesman for the show said: "Everyone has given their time and energy freely and we now need people to support us by coming to the shows.’ says producer, Christine Newton. ‘It promises to be a really fun evening. All profits will, of course be going to the charity. We did a similar thing about 2 years ago and raised over £2,000.’

Tickets online, calling 0333 666 3366 or at Beer Top Shop, Colyton Stores, Colyford Post Office or Seaton League of Friends charity shop or on the door.
