Adult learners at Learn Devon have received their GCSE results.
Learn Devon, the adult education service of Devon County Council, provides free GCSE English and maths qualifications with courses that start in September and January.
In Exmouth, Andrew Morgan earned a grade 5 in his English GCSE.
He said: "I'm delighted, it's been a long year and I have had to work really hard and I'm now feeling really relieved.
"Thanks to Learn Devon, especially to the learning support team for their help."
Jiyong Park, who also collected her GCSE maths results in Exmouth, said that she was "really excited" to get her results.
She said: "A lot of work but I got the result I wanted.
"This has been my first exam for a while."
In Tavistock, students praised their course tutors.
Alina Nishkur said: "Sessions were intense but helpful, and the tutors were brilliant.
"Very clear, well-taught course.
"Good feedback."
Kelly Lillicrap said: "Owen is the best tutor, he's got so much patience and he's always at hand to help and just an email away."
In Newton Abbot, Jasmine Barnes achieved a grade 7 in English and a grade 5 in Maths.
This allows her to enrol on an Access to Health Care Professionals course at South Devon College, with plans to study Midwifery at university.
Councillor Rufus Gilbert, Devon County Council cabinet member for economic recovery and skills, said: "Gaining a GCSE qualification is a fantastic achievement and all of the learners who have studied their GCSEs with Learn Devon should feel extremely proud.
"Many of them have managed to fit in their studies around family and work commitments which is no mean feat and makes their results thoroughly well deserved."
Mr Gilbert further congratulated everyone on their efforts and great results.
