Students at Sidmouth College have been receiving their GCSE results this morning.
The school would like to celebrate the individual successes of their students, though there will be some who may not have received the grades they wanted today.
Toby Martin received eight grade 9 and two grade 8. He is going to Colyton Grammar to study Maths and Science.
Jack Ponting: 6 x grade 9, 1 x grade 8, 2 x grade 7, 1 x grade 6 - Going to Exeter Maths School to study maths, further maths, Physics and Chemistry
Laura Gosden: 5 x grade 9, 2 x grade 8, 3 x grade 7 – Sidmouth College Sixth Form
Grace Hodgson: 5 x grade 8, 2 x grade 7, 1 x grade 6, 5 x grade 5 - Sidmouth College Sixth Form studying Maths and Science
Sandy Howe: 2 x grade 9, 1 x grade 8, 5 x grade 7, 2 x grade 6
Amelie Aldous: 1 x grade 9, 6 x grade 8, 2 x grade 6
Joe Allen: 2 x grade 9, 2 x grade 8, 6 x grade 7 - Going to Colyton Grammar to study Chemistry, Maths and History
Jacob Strong: 2 x grade 9, 4 x grade 8, 2 x grade 7, 1 x grade 6 - Going to Exeter College to study Science, Maths and History
Sarah Parsons, headteacher of Sidmouth College said: "I am so proud of our Sidmouth College students today. The results they’ve received today are the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and the unwavering support of family and friends and school staff. I hope each and every student is incredibly proud of the journey they have taken to get here. Everyone at Sidmouth College is so proud of you all. I look forward to seeing many of you back in our sixth form in the coming weeks, and for those moving on, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you."
