Sidmouth Folk Festival took place from August 1 to 8, which featured a lot of events throughout the town to celebrate folk music.
The week included films at The Regent Cinema, folk dancers on the seafront, acts and performances all over Sidmouth.

Blackmore Gardens The 70th Sidmouth Folk Festival on 2-9th August 2024, brings an irresistible feast of world-class folk music, song and dance to the Devon seaside town. Back in July 1955, the English Folk Dance & Song Society (EFDSS), on Eileen Phelan’s suggestion, decided that Sidmouth was a perfect addition to their existing and established folk dance.
