Last Night of the Proms in Sidmouth, the annual extravaganza is set to feature renowned Mezzo Soprano, Marie Elliott.
Sidmouth Town Band’s Last Night of the Proms is being held on Saturday August 17 at Connaught Gardens and tickets are already selling fast.
This year the popular annual event features renowned Mezzo Soprano soloist Marie Elliott with the evening compered in the capable hands of popular local performer, Marc Colson.
Prom goers can expect a very varied and engaging programme of music including some new arrangements as well all the usual ‘Last Night’ favourites.
The annual event attracts hundreds of concert goers who bring tables, chairs, candelabras, picnic hampers and various liquid refreshment to enjoy music and the unique bandstand set amongst beautiful gardens.
Tickets are selling fast, so to get yours, go to McShaw Optometrists, 123 High Street (01395 578 724) or see any Band Member. The Concert starts at 7.30pm and the lawned area of the gardens is open from 6pm.
