An Ottery woman has appeared in court accused of stalking.
Sophie Colwill, aged 30, of Mill Street in Ottery St Mary, is charged with stalking a man in Exton, ‘causing serious alarm and distress, which had a substantial adverse effect on his usual day-to-day activities, when you knew or ought to have known that your course of conduct would cause alarm or distress’.
The alleged offences took place between May 1 and May 30 this year.
At Exeter Magistrates’ Court on August 1 2024, she was remanded on conditional bail until the next hearing on September 6 2024.
The bail conditions stipulate that she must not contact the alleged victim directly or indirectly, and must not go to Green Lane, Exton or the Smile Dental Surgery, Emperor Way, Exeter.
