The streets in Ottery St Mary with the highest house prices have been revealed by a property company – along with those where it's cheapest to buy a home.

Professional fast sales company Property Solvers has tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019.

The homes that sold for the highest prices in Ottery St Mary were in Barrel Close (average £587,777), Cadhay Lane (average £575,833) and Longdogs Lane (£558,000).

The least expensive properties were in Badgers Mews (average £169,879), Tip Hill (£171,158) and Mossop Close (£192,333).

The average house price in Ottery St Mary is £350,000, based on HM Land Registry data.

The average property price increased by £62,122 (21.1 per cent) over the last five years and increased by £12,419 (3.61 per cent) over the last 12 months.

Over the last year, there were 68 residential property sales – a decrease of 22 transactions (-32.35 per cent) relative to the previous year. The majority of house sales (16) were in the £320,000- £380,000 range. Then came properties in the £260,000- £320,000 range, where 15 were sold within this price bracket.
