Sidmouth Craft Hub will be celebrating its first anniversary in business on Saturday, July 20.
All day the shop will be offering complimentary glasses of bubby or soft drinks, and discounts on craft kits.
Sidmouth Craft Hub, owned by Felicity Carver, opened in Mill Street on July 15 2023.
Felicity said: "We have had a fantastic first year, and around 75 per cent of people who have come into the shop have left saying 'This is just what Sidmouth needs', which is a huge affirmation that I did the right thing in taking the plunge to open a new business in the town.
"We have enjoyed meeting so many lovely people - we have now run over 245 craft classes, with over 1,450 students, which is a fantastic result for a first year of trading."
The Craft Hub also played a key part in the Sidmouth Flag Festival, organised by Sidmouth Coastal Community Hub and Sidmouth School of Art. This initiative saw local groups and organisations designing and making flags representing what they do.
Around 35 groups took part in a series of free workshops and The Craft Hub, creating their flags, which will be hung across High Street and Fore Street for the rest of this summer.
Felicity said: "We have really enjoyed hosting the groups in our beautiful craft room as they have designed and made their flags."
She has also been out in the community running craft classes, including one for 50 Sidmouth Primary School pupils who made pop-up Easter cards, and a workshop for 20 members ofo Aylesbeare WI.
Felicity said: "It's a joy to meet so many people and bring pleasure to those who think they can't craft."
