Sidmouth in Bloom's Summer Secluded Gardens event will take place from Friday, June 28 to Monday, July 1.
Eight 'secret' gardens will be opening their gates to the public at various times over the weekend and on Monday. They include a garden close to the seafront with exotic plants and a 'tropical jungle' vibe, a landscaped three-tiered garden, and a 'biodiversity' garden with wildflowers and an organic vegetable bed. Some have sitting areas with beautiful views across the sea.
Teas will be available at the two gardens opening on Friday afternoon, but not at the others. Tickets are available at the garden entrances and are priced at £2 per garden or £8 for all of them.
All proceeds raised are in aid of Sidmouth in Bloom’s work keeping the town looking beautiful for residents and visitors alike.
