The 2024 Ottery St Mary Primary School Hill Climb has proved to be a great success this year.

The annual John Campion Junior Hill Climb, held on a warm Wednesday afternoon, saw the school's motto 'Push yourself and have a go' brought to life in memory of the late John Campion, who inspired children to cycle.

School children, parents, and teachers witnessed the test of perseverance and skill accompanying the 30-second challenge, according to the honorary starter, Mr Pike.

Brother rivalry launched onto the track with Sam C and Ben C dipping below 25 seconds.

The school community cheered as each young cyclist reached the summit.
