The Spooky Men’s Chorale has announced the full details of their jaw-dropping 2024 UK tour.

The tour promises memorable performances in various iconic locations including a special engagement in Sidmouth.

This award-winning Australian folk act will do 30 performances at classic venues such as London's Union Chapel and Queen's Hall Edinburgh, plus Warwick, Wickham, Cropredy and Sidmouth Festivals.

The tour, which builds on a record of 10 sell-out tours and 6 highly acclaimed albums, showcases an engaging mix of Georgian songs, beautiful ballads, ridiculous covers and hilarious originals.

The music group is known to leave an eternal impression on the audience.

The group boasts top reviews from national and international press and critics.

The Daily Telegraph urges: "Don’t miss an opportunity to see them."

While Mark Radcliffe from BBC Radio 2, states “Once seen they are never forgotten! Beautiful singing; very sharp and witty lyrics.”

In addition, the Spooky Men's Chorale will bring copies of their latest album, We'll give it a go.

The group was formed in 2001 in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales and is armed with their voices and an ill-matched set of hats.

They have gained a cult following with their unique and extraordinary combination of deadpan delivery and heart-stopping harmonies, making them a favourite among theatre and festival audiences.

A recipient of the People's Choice Award at the Australian Folk Music Awards, The Spooky Men's Chorales are not just loved for their brilliant music but also their uniquely joyous take on favourite songs.

The Guardian praised the group as well, stating: "It takes a rare skill to be very silly, thoughtful, and sing in perfect harmony, but the Spooky Men’s Chorale manage to achieve just that."

The artistry doesn't stop there.

They have been described as a "mighty singing machine" and have been recognised for their "sheer musical excellence – like the ghosts of choristers long gone" by the Sydney Morning Herald.

Their engaging performances have not only earned admiration from music critics but also listeners, gaining extensive airplay on radio shows such as Cerys Matthews (Radio 6), Mark Radcliffe (Radio 2), In Tune (Radio 3) and Front Row (Radio 4). Their recent tours have included performances at prestigious events such as WOMAD, Edinburgh and Sidmouth festivals, where they wowed the audience with their impalpable energy and humour.

The upcoming UK tour promises to offer more of the same.

The Spooky Men's Chorale will delight people in Sidmouth, where they are set to play at the Sidmouth Folk Festival on August 5.
