Ottery indie rock band The Kabins put on a show at Festival on the Hills - and thanked festival-goers for turning up in their numbers.
Their gig was held at Honiton Showground last Thursday.
The Kabins applauded both the audience and the festival’s staff in a Facebook post, praising the "amazing hospitality, amazing security, amazing sound engineers" and the "proper up for it crowd".
It read: "Well… Festival on the Hills, that was absolutely crazy. We can’t thank you all enough for turning up to watch us lads play.
"It’s rare for a new(ish) grassroots band to get on the bill with huge artists and share the stage with legends!"
The band, together since 2020, has announced another show slated for this Saturday at the Sidmouth Arms in Upottery.
It is organised by one of the Festival on the Hills’ organisers and is sure to attract a good number of music enthusiasts.
And they band also has a first-time performance at The Cavern club in Exeter, alongside The Lunar Keys, lined up for June 22.
The Kabins feature school friends Todd Gilronan on vocals and guitar and Elliott Plance on guitar.
Freddie Clarke (bass) and Felix Randall (drums) joined them a few months after the band's formation.
They cite The Fratellis, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis as their main inspirations.
