Organisers of Ottery's First Party in the Park fundraiser for the Carnival and Tar Barrels say 'thank you' to everyone who attended the festival.
The event took place last weekend (May 25 and 26). Organisers of Party in the Park and Friends of Carnival and Barrel Night posted on their Facebook page to say: "We would like to say a huge thank you to every band, food and drink vendor, stall holder and everyone who helped us put on this event.
"The weather was not on our side but everyone who came out to help us regardless and helped us put on this event, we are so grateful. Until next year."
The festival had music, entertainment, food and drink, stalls and other attractions at the Millennium Green from 5pm until 11pm on Saturday, and from noon until 10pm on the Sunday.
Last year, the organisers held a Picnic on the Green on Sunday only. This year's was built up into a two-day event with much more going on, aimed at providing something for all ages including families with children.
Saturday featured mainly music, food and drink and Sunday was a fun day with activities for children and a strongman exhibition.
Both days were free to attend, but people will be invited to make a donation towards the Carnival and Tar Barrels if they can afford it. The stallholders and bar will also be donating some of their takings.
The bands playing on Saturday included The Quasars, 52nd Street, Rock Steady and The Upper Hand. On Sunday they will be Skratchers, Scaramanga, Bimey O'Rely, The Chantry Boys, Tony Lock, Mammoth and Stiletto.
Full details of the music, food and drink and other attractions on both days and pictures of the two day event can be found on the Party in the Park Facebook page.
The Tar Barrels team have lots of fundraising events planned between now and Tar Barrels, keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates.
