Simon Jupp, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the Honiton & Sidmouth constituency.

I’m proud to be standing for where I live in the new Honiton & Sidmouth constituency at the General Election on 4th July. It has been the greatest honour of my life to have served you as your MP. Since I was elected in 2019, I have secured a new school to replace flood-prone Tipton St John Primary, up to £30m to improve water quality in Sidmouth, funding to protect the rivers Sid and Otter and multi-million-pound Levelling Up funding to cut congestion. I have kept my promises and want to continue to deliver for our area.

We live in the best part of Devon, but I have a plan to make it even better. I will build on my track record of delivering for Devon. I want to bring more healthcare closer to home, and I’ll always fight to protect our community hospitals. We have more police in our force than ever before, but we need regular patrols, with more police stations open to the public. I’m determined to stop the boats, continue to cut NHS waiting lists, tackle inflation, continue to protect the pensions triple lock & ensure state pensioners never pay income tax, and create better paid jobs locally. With our Conservative plan for the country and my plan for our part of Devon, we can make our towns and villages even better places to live. I have been out on the doorsteps again all this week to speak to people about the issues that matter to them. I won’t be taking any vote for granted.
