Sidmouth's Oasis Cafe will be providing a tranquil space at this weekend's Seafest, on Saturday, May 18.
The cafe, usually based at Dissenters, offers a safe, friendly environment for anyone who feels they would like some company. At Seafest the team will be in a dedicated area of the Sensory Garden, offering the same service.
The cafe's founder Andie Milne said: "Oasis Cafe's main objective is to provide a safe area for anyone who struggles with low confidence, loneliness and isolation.
"Sometimes community events can highlight these feelings and prevent the full enjoyment of joining in such amazing fun events.
"We will be providing cold drinks and biscuits. Hot drinks and food can be bought from the various stalls available, or even bring your own picnic and sit and enjoy an Oasis of calm.
"We are grateful to the Sidmouth Coastal Community Hub and Sea Fest team for welcoming us this year. "
The Oasis Cafe area at Seafest will be open on Saturday, May 18 from 11am until 2pm.
