The next session of Sidmouth Repair Cafe is this Saturday, April 27.
The last fixing session took place on Easter Saturday last month, and saw 23 volunteers at work across the different sections.
Among the items brought in was an early home computer, a Sinclair 2X Spectrum, first produced in 1982.
Volunteer Jenny said: “We just love that these ‘vintage’ items still appear!"
She added that the 'vibe' of the Sidmouth Repair Cafe remains special: “We so often hear on the front desk how much folk have enjoyed the visit, love the atmosphere and what a lucky town we are to have this community repair facility.”
The Repair Cafe is doing so well that the organisers of a new Repair Cafe in Seaton are planning a visit.
As usual, the Repair Cafe will be open at the Manstone Youth Centre from 10am until 1pm, with a team of fixers ready to help, and a cafe serving hot drinks and snacks.
