Sidford Tennis Club is holding an open session next week for people to meet members and find out more about the benefits of joining.
The Meet and Greet morning will take place on Sunday, April 14 from 10am until 12 noon.
Chris Long from the tennis club committee said: "All are welcome to visit the club, meet our friendly members and find out all the amazing benefits of playing tennis at any level.
"We have members ranging from seven years old to 87!"
He added that the club's ladies team won the 2023 Summer Exeter and District League Division 6, and now move up to Division 5.
Chris said: "Whether you are a complete beginner, a 'Rusty Racquet' looking to return to the game or new to the area, you will find the friendly and supportive atmosphere of the club really helpful in enabling you to enjoy this amazing sport, as well as lots of social activities throughout the year."
At the Meet and Greet morning, there will be LTA level 3 tennis coaches on hand to answer any tennis related questions and give details of how to join the club.
The club house is adjacent to the Sidford football pitch, opposite Sidford Community Hall, and there is plenty of parking at the end of the track.
