Traffic on Woolbrook Road in Sidmouth will soon face a temporary block for major road improvements.
The popular road will be blocked from March 29 to April 14, as ordered by Devon County Council.
This will allow roadworks that involve crucial culvert slab replacements.
It was revealed in a public notice posted on the Public Notice Portal on March 22.
Drivers are to use an alternative route including Arcot Road, A375, Sidford Road, A3052, High Street, and reverse.
It is important to note the closure applies to the proportion of Woolbrook Road between the junction for Woolbrook Meadows and Corehill Road.
Noncompliance to the temporary prohibition is viewed as a contravention of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
