This year's Sidmouth Sea Fest will take place on Saturday, May 18, with the 'carpe diem' message of 'Seas the Day'.
The festival, organised by Sidmouth Coastal Community Hub, aims to bring people together to celebrate, value and protect the sea and coastal environment.
The free family day out at The Ham will take place from 10am until 10.30pm and will feature live music and entertainment, along with stalls and activities provided by local artists, craftspeople, choirs, and wellbeing and environmental groups. Further details will be announced soon.
Before the free family festival on May 18, there will be the ticketed Friday Night Fundraiser at The Ham, from 5pm until 10.30pm, hosted by comedian Fitz of Giggles with the musician and rap poet Samantics.
There will be music from the local three-piece pop and R&B band The Naughty Steps, and the headline act will be Dr Meaker, described as one of the best live dance bands in the South West.
Early Bird tickets for the Friday Night Fundraiser in support of the free and inclusive Sea Fest Saturday event are available now for £15 until Friday 12th April, and can be booked here
