Sidmouth's traditional hot cross bun giveaway will take place as usual on Good Friday, March 29.
The team will be at the Bedford Lawn car park handing out bags containing two buns, a creme egg and an orange to children aged 12 and under from the Sid Valley. Sidmouth Town Band will be playing and the giveaway will be officially opened at 9am by Chris Lockyear, the Chair of Sidmouth Town Council.
If it's raining the event will be moved to All Saints' Church Hall and the change will be posted on the Facebook page of Sidmouth Community for the People.
Rachel Perram, secretary of the Hot Cross Bun Committee, said: "This year sees changes in the committee. Several of our fantastic, long serving members have retired: Mike Wood, President, David Pring and Mark Jones. We would like to thank them for their many years of service and for keeping the event running through hard times and good.
"We welcome Sarah Burston as treasurer, Graham Symington and Duncan Woods onto the committee.
"Although the bags are free to give away, we are always super grateful for donations to our cause, and rely on these to keep going each year. We do not have a card reader at present, so if you would like to donate, please bring along loose change for our buckets.
"We look forward to seeing you all on the day!"
