Classics Galore is back at the University of Exeter's Great Hall this year, delighting audiences once again in benefit for FORCE Cancer Charity.
The 2024 concert will take place on Saturday, November 9.
Tickets start at £12 and go up to £30, becoming available from Monday, July 15.
The show will be hosted by Victoria Graham, a familiar face from BBC Spotlight, who has passionately supported FORCE for a very personal reason.
She explained: "You never imagine it's going to happen to you or someone you love – but it does.
"Cancer isn’t just a personal journey but touches the lives of all those who give their love and support.
"That’s why I am thrilled to be supporting FORCE.
"Any organisation which can help to raise and keep money for research and support locally is vital – which is why I am supporting FORCE this November."
Music lovers on the night can expect to see over 200 musicians and singers fill the stage with a delightful variety of pieces - from the Hallelujah Chorus to the theme from Superman, reaching its climax with a rousing singalong finale in true Proms tradition.
Starring in the ensemble are the specially chosen Classics Galore! orchestra, Ottery St Mary Choral Society, St David’s Players, and the Lympstone Band.
The renowned sopranist Cheryl Enever will also be performing as a soloist.
Instituted by Dick Passmore, a cancer patient who lived and worked in Exeter all his life, and his wife Posy, the concert series has raised more than £130,000 for FORCE so far.
The superb 2022 event contributed significantly to that total with an astounding £19,500 raised for free cancer support at Ottery St Mary Hospital.
Despite the saddening loss of Mr Passmore in 2019, his amazing legacy continues to enrich lives in the community.
Eager event-goers have the option to book their tickets online from July 15 through Ticketsource or via the FORCE website.
With the unforgettable experience in store and the noble cause it supports, Classics Galore!
comes as an event not to be missed this November.
As history shows, it is sure to delight audience members and make a remarkable difference to FORCE's invaluable work in the local community.
